Depart South Africa on Kenya Airways to Nairobi.
On arrival at Nairobi International Airport remain in transit and book in to get your connecting flight on Kenya Airways to Kigali International.
Alternative flights are available on SAA.
Transfer to our preferred Hotel and overnight on a Bed and Breakfast Basis. |

After breakfast you will be taken on a morning tour of Kigali, which will include a trip to the famous Genocide Museum.
Following the Museum tour you will be transferred by road to Ruhengeri – approximately 2.5 - 3 hour's drive - where you will spend 2 nights at a selected Lodge. |

After breakfast you will be collected for your Gorilla trek/experience and returned to the Lodge for a late lunch with a chance to reflect on your amazing experience.
The remainder of the day is spent at leisure before enjoying dinner beside the fire in the restaurant or outside on the deck under the stars.
Your Untamed Odyssey facilitator will be available throughout the day to answer any of your technical photographic and Safari questions. |

You will be transferred to Kigali airport to catch a flight on Kenya Airways, arriving in Nairobi to overnight at our preferred Hotel on a Bed & Breakfast Basis. |

After breakfast you will be collected and transferred to Wilson Airport to catch your flight on Air Kenya or Gov Air to the Masai Mara.
You will be collected from the airstrip in a game vehicle and will enjoy a game drive to our preferred Camp, arriving in time for lunch. Book in for 4 nights on a Full Board Basis. |

After being woken with steaming cups of tea/coffee brought to your tent, get ready to embark on your morning game drive in this spectacular game viewing paradise. Home to the famous "Big Cat Diaries", you will not be disappointed as your experienced guide searches for those once-in-a-lifetime photographic opportunities.
A wholesome breakfast will be served at the camp on your return.
The remainder of the day can be spent at leisure, either taking advantage of one of the camps many activities, or relaxing on your own private deck absorbing the beauty of nature spread out in front of you. Your photographic guide will be available throughout the day.
Your Untamed Odyssey facilitator will be available throughout the day to answer any technical photographic and safari questions.
Meet for High Tea before being led on yet another breath-taking afternoon game drive.
On return to camp, dinner will be served while catching up on the day's happenings and possible stargazing led by your photographic guide, depending on the weather. |

After breakfast and gathering your belongings, you will be transferred to the airstrip to catch your flight to Wilson Airport in Nairobi.
Transfer back to Nairobi International for your flight on Air Kenya to Johannesburg. |

This is a romantic and evocative way of experiencing the wilderness of East Africa, as you gracefully and silently fly over the plains teeming with herds of wildlife in the early morning. Typically, a balloon safari begins at break of dawn, about 6 am, and lasts for around 1 hour, during which you will fly over parts of the vast Masai Mara plain, seeing the magnificent wildlife below, spread over several square kilometres of the reserve. Balloon flights are available daily in Masai Mara and take off from designated sites where the disturbance to animals is kept to a minimum. Your safari vehicle drops you off at the take-off site and picks you up from your landing site. The flight is followed by a champagne breakfast "in the bush", with a well laid out seating arrangement and waiters on hand, to give you a fitting finale to your memorable flight in the wild. |
